Quick Homeroom report

Homeroom Weekly News 4/23 - 4/27

Good morning parents, students, and other members of our community.

With a very short week (and starting the second round of OAKS testing, there's not much to report for homeroom this week.  Students are working away at their portfolios, their science fair papers, and
getting back into a routine with reading/writing for this last stretch of school.  Thursday and Friday were days off for students, but wonderful work days for the Staff.  We met together and worked on curriculum mapping for next year.  We hope to make the 3 Senior classrooms more consistent across the grades, and collaboration is an important part of making that a reality.  Working with Mr. Oldham and Mr. Workentin these past few days gives me immense hope for the future.  For now though, let's finish up this last month of school as a strong community.

Tuesday, May 1st
- Homework Club 3-4pm

Wednesday, May 2nd
- 1st Annual MRA Science Fair 12:45 - 2:30 pm - come support our students if you can!

Friday, May 4th
- Homewrok Club 3-4pm

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  It might even be sunny again!

My favorite thing in class was working on my 8th grade project! (:
