2013 Field Day! - Thursday, June 13

Weekly Homeroom News 6/3 - 6/7

Hey Homeroom Parents,
Our staff has been working on our end of the year activities. We’ve got some exciting things planned this year for field day! We will be splitting up the older and younger grades (K-3 and 4-8) to provide age appropriate activities for all. I’m looking for a couple volunteers to help out with the older student field day activities during the morning of June 13th. We need lots of volunteers, but have been asked to have a minimum of two per homeroom.
One event I’m planning for field day (and an option for you to volunteer with) is a massive 4-8th game of capture the flag. I’m hoping to make it a very exciting, lively, involved game with face paint, secret calls and signals, and parents/teachers playing and reffing to keep things fair. I would LOVE if some of you could help make this particular activity happen for our olders that morning. Let me know if you would like to be involved!
Here’s to helping our Seniors end their year on an awesome note. Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. Picnic lunches will follow our awesome field day adventures and I’m sure you would be welcome to join in.
Take care,
Mrs. Nilsen
