Sub week and Interactive Test

Weekly Science News 5/20 - 5/24

I had the extreme pleasure of attending a dear, dear friends wedding in New Jersey this last week.  I'm lucky to have such wonderful students who worked well with my sub, Mrs. Child.  She gave me a glowing report.  I'm thankful to get to work with such great kids!

As I missed the majority of this week I don't have lots of pictures to share.  Students made a "Question Asker" with Mrs. Child to wrap up our unit and study for their Interactive Exam.  During the exam students had to diagnose what was wrong with a few different circuit boards instead of just reiterating facts back to me.  I was very impressed with how well our students did.  As a whole they exceeded my expectations for this unit.  Perhaps we have some future electricians in our midst!

Be on the look out for an early weekly news post next week that will give details for the Final Science Project for the year.  I can barely believe there are only 13 school days left!  Enjoy your holiday weekend.
