Taylor's Goodbye

These last three years at MRA have gone by like the wind. It seems like just yesterday we were in Mrs. Cook’s class learning about Greek & Roman Mythology or in science last year with Mr. Garritano studying atoms and elements. This school does not even really feel like a school, it more of a family or second home. Everyone is there for you, and that is definitely one of the many things that I will miss. When I leave, I will have so many memories of how remarkable all of the teachers are/were, and how all of my friends stood by me when things looked dreary.
This year was a tough one, what with Senior Project, but it has been a year that has made me stronger. I feel that I am prepared for High School because of what my teachers have done for us. Over the past couple weeks, I have wondered if I am truly ready to go onto High School, leave my 6th and 7th grade friends behind, begin an unexplored chapter in my life, and become a High Schooler. Then one day, things were put into perspective, I can come back and help, I will see them in two or three years at the maximum.
MRA has been an amazing experience for me, and I am glad that I was given the opportunity to share it with my friends.

Taylor, it has been an absolute pleasure, so far, being your grandmother. I am positive that joy, pride and pleasure will continue in the years to come. Grandpa and I are extremely proud of you and how hard you work. We know there are great things ahead for you and look forward to all that you will accomplish. MRA seems to have been a perfect fit for your middle school education and you are right, it has seemed more like a family. Keep up the great work and have tons of fun in high school. Scary thought for us... just 7 short months to a potential driver's permit : ) Love you! Grandma Robin
