As we spent a good chunk of our time this last week working on Science Fair things (we spent
time in homeroom working on the paper part, especially), I have little extra to report other than to encourage you to read the Science Weekly News this week. In addition to our Science Fair, we’re moving right along with our 2nd and 3rd round of OAKS testing, as the window for testing closes in two weeks. Students were quite busy with all of these things and more.
I do, however, have the pleasure of reporting one tid-bit of news to you in relation to homeroom. The Pedersons invited me (and a few of the other teachers) to the Piano Recital they held at their house this past Friday, May the 4th. Three of my homeroom students preformed (Linden, Nicole, and Nathan) as well as a few from the other classes. It was such a great time and I was proud of our Seniors. Even with all the homework they’ve had piled on lately, a lot of it from me, they are still working hard to pursue other areas of interest and study. It truly was a pleasure and I wanted to give a shout out to all of the MRA students who preformed! You did a fantastic job.

I'm so glad that you had a good time at our piano recital! Thank you so much for coming! The science fair was awesome too, although I'm glad that it's over... :)

It was a work filled week all because of Mrs.Nilsen. Thankfully I finished all my work. I also went to the piano recital. I would have rather went to a soccer, track meet, or basketball game, but it was fun to see friends and teachers.
